Vertical pump requirements

1. Application of power distribution system: The operation of slurry pumps, especially those above 22kW, must be achieved through the voltage reduction function of autotransformers. At the same time, the mutual functions of AC contactors, time relays, air switches, etc. in the distribution system are used to ensure the normal operation of the construction circuit. Sometimes it is necessary to set up leakage protection function.
2. Relay conveying system: The medium conveying of the slurry pump is delivered to the designated area through a dedicated mud conveying hose. But sometimes this function cannot be achieved, it needs to be achieved through the relay conveying system of several slurry pumps. In production practice, it is more suitable to set a relay every 500m for a 15kw slurry pump, and every 1000m for a 22kw slurry pump.
3. Joint operation of high-pressure slurry pump: This is the most common construction method. It is to first use the hydraulic flushing effect of the high-pressure pump to dilute the medium into a certain concentration of mud. Then, it is pumped and discharged to the designated area by the slurry pump. The water source is generally recommended to be within 300m.
4. Personnel configuration combination: The construction personnel configuration combination of the slurry pump unit is very important. Manpower should be arranged according to construction conditions, working conditions, and progress. In production practice, the commonly used methods are the two shift split system or the three shift four six system. If special construction such as hydraulic filling, sea reclamation, and underwater operations are used, additional manpower needs to be dispatched and cleverly arranged.
