Pneumatic diaphragm pumps are a new type of conveying machinery that uses compressed air as a power source and uses the diaphragm in the cylinder to agitate back and forth to achieve the purpose of conveying various media.

Working principle of pneumatic diaphragm pumps:

In the two symmetrical working chambers of the pump, each is equipped with an elastic diaphragm, and the connecting rod connects the two diaphragms into one. After the compressed air enters the air distribution valve from the air inlet joint of the pump, it pushes the diaphragms in the two working chambers to move, driving the two diaphragms connected by the connecting rod to move synchronously. At the same time, the gas in the other working chamber is discharged from the back of its diaphragm. Once the end of the stroke is reached, the valve mechanism automatically introduces compressed air into the other working chamber, pushing the diaphragm to move in the opposite direction, thus forming the synchronous reciprocating motion of the two diaphragms. Two one-way ball valves are set in each working chamber. The reciprocating motion of the diaphragm causes the volume of the working chamber to change, forcing the two one-way ball valves to open and close alternately, thereby continuously sucking and discharging the liquid.

Uses:
1. It can pump various sewage.
2. It can pump various chemical corrosives, petroleum, mud, and clean grease.
3. It can pump various highly toxic, flammable, and volatile liquids.
4. It can pump various strong acids, strong alkalis, and highly corrosive liquids.
5. It can pump various high-temperature liquids, with a maximum temperature of 150°C.
6. It can be used as a pre-stage pressure-feeding device for various solid-liquid separation equipment.

Features of pneumatic diaphragm pump:
1. No need to pour water, suction distance up to 7m, head up to 50m, outlet pressure) 6kgf/cmZ.
2. Good flow performance, allowing the maximum particle diameter to pass through up to 10mm. When pumping mud and impurities, there is little wear on the pump.
3. The head and flow can be adjusted steplessly through the opening of the air valve (the air pressure is adjusted between 1 and 7kgf/cmZ).
4. The pump has no rotating parts and no shaft seal. It relies on the reciprocating motion of a pair of diaphragms to pump various media. Because the moving parts of the pump and the working medium are completely separated, the transported medium will not leak out, avoiding environmental pollution and personal harm.
5. It does not use power supply and can be used in flammable and explosive places, which is safe and reliable.
6. It can be immersed in the medium to replace the submersible pump to pump liquid.
7. When starting and stopping the pump, you only need to open and close the gas valve to operate. Even if there is no medium pumping for a long time or it stops suddenly due to unexpected circumstances, the pump will not be damaged. Once overloaded, the pump will automatically shut down and has self-protection capabilities. When the load returns to normal, it can automatically start running again.
8. Simple structure and few wearing parts. The diaphragm pump has a simple structure and is easy to install and maintain. When the pump conveys the medium, it will not contact the moving parts such as the gas distribution valve and connecting rod, avoiding corrosion and wear of the parts.
9. It can convey relatively large liquids.
10. No oil lubrication is used, and even idling will not have any effect on the pump.
