Working Principle of a Single-Stage Centrifugal Pump
The working principle of a single-stage centrifugal pump is very simple. Liquid enters the pump chamber through the pump inlet and, under the action of centrifugal force caused by the rotation of the impeller, its velocity increases rapidly. The liquid is pushed towards the pump outlet through the impeller's flow channels, thus completing the liquid transport. The high-speed rotation of the impeller generates sufficient pressure within the pump to drive the liquid flow.
