An industrial end suction pump is a centrifugal pump that uses centrifugal force to draw liquid into the pump. Its inlet and outlet are located on the same side of the pump, with the inlet end being the end of the pump and the outlet end being the front end of the pump. The industrial end suction pump has a simple structure and is suitable for conveying relatively viscous liquids. It also has good wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and is particularly suitable for conveying corrosive liquids.

Structural features
Industrial end-suction pumps are designed according to the performance and dimensions specified in the international standard IS02858. They are mainly composed of a pump body (1), a pump cover (2), an impeller (3), a shaft (4), a sealing ring (5), a shaft sleeve (8), and a suspension bearing (12) (Figure 2). The pump body and pump cover of IS and IH pumps are split from the back of the impeller, commonly known as a rear-opening structure, which has the advantage of being easy to repair. During maintenance, the pump body and suction pipe can be inspected without moving them. The pump casing (i.e., the pump body and pump cover) constitutes the pump's working chamber. The impeller shaft and rolling bearing constitute the pump's rotor. The suspension bearing assembly supports the rotating parts of the pump, and the rolling bearing bears the radial force and axial forces of the pump. In order to balance the axial force of the pump, most pumps are equipped with sealing rings before and after the impeller, and there are balancing holes on the impeller rear cover. Some pumps do not have sealing rings and balancing holes because the axial force is not large.
