The HNYB Back-to-Back Impeller Multistage Pump is a high-pressure centrifugal pump designed with an advanced self-balancing impeller arrangement. By utilizing a back-to-back impeller configuration, axial thrust generated during operation is automatically balanced, reducing mechanical wear and improving long-term reliability.

Unlike conventional multistage pumps that rely on balancing discs or balancing drums, the back-to-back impeller design minimizes thrust loads directly through hydraulic balance. This results in higher efficiency, lower maintenance requirements, and extended service life in demanding industrial environments.

The pump is widely used in boiler feed systems, mining dewatering, industrial water supply, power plants, petrochemical facilities, and high-pressure fluid transfer applications.

  • Innovative Structure: This product employs a symmetrical impeller rotor assembly, effectively counteracting the axial thrust generated during impeller rotation. This eliminates the need for a balancing disc device, which suffers from small clearances, high pressure drop, and susceptibility to corrosion, wear, and failure, thus overcoming the limitations of traditional multistage pump structures.
  • High Efficiency and Energy Saving: This pump utilizes an advanced hydraulic model and independently developed high-efficiency energy-saving technology, achieving zero-balance leakage, reducing volumetric losses, improving overall pump efficiency, and lowering axial power. Its efficiency is 2%-3% higher than that of ordinary multistage pumps.
  • High Reliability: The self-balancing axial force load minimizes pump wear and system disturbance. Stress peaks are significantly lower than in the original structure, thereby improving rotor stiffness and critical speed, and significantly enhancing rotor stability and reliability.
  • High Stability: Through the optimized combination of symmetrical impellers and guide vanes, as well as a reasonable clearance and wide axial throttling design, this pump maintains high stability and operating efficiency during long-term operation.
  • Cavitation Resistance: This pump features an optimized hydraulic model and structural design, equipped with a special double-suction single-stage impeller, precision cast for reliable wear resistance and excellent cavitation resistance. The machine operates stably with low noise. No pre-pumping or increasing the water tank height is required.
  • Easy Maintenance: The pump employs a quick-assembly and disassembly design, allowing for seal and bearing replacement without disassembling the pump body and inlet/outlet pipes. The elimination of easily damaged parts such as a balance disc saves maintenance and inspection time.
