What Is A Horizontal Multistage Booster Pump?

A multistage booster pump is a high-pressure centrifugal pump equipped with multiple impellers arranged in series. Each impeller increases the liquid pressure, allowing the pump to generate significantly higher heads than single-stage pumps.
HNYB multistage booster pumps are designed for industrial water supply, pressure boosting systems, boiler feed water systems, municipal water transfer, irrigation, mining, and high-rise building applications. With flow capacities up to 1350m³/h and heads up to 1800m, our pumps provide reliable and energy-efficient operation under demanding conditions.

How Does A Horizontal Multistage Booster Pump Work?
The liquid enters the first-stage impeller where kinetic energy is added to the fluid. After leaving the first impeller, the liquid passes through a diffuser and enters the next impeller stage. Each stage progressively increases pressure while maintaining stable flow.
By combining multiple impellers on a common shaft, the pump can achieve very high discharge pressure without requiring excessive motor power.
