A high pressure multistage water pump is a centrifugal pump designed with multiple impellers connected in series to generate high discharge pressure. Each impeller stage increases liquid pressure progressively, making the pump ideal for high-head industrial applications and long-distance water transfer systems.

How Does A Multistage High Pressure Pump Work?

The liquid enters the suction section of the pump and flows through multiple impellers arranged in series. Each impeller increases the liquid pressure step by step. The final discharge pressure is the sum of all impeller stages.
This multistage structure allows the pump to achieve extremely high heads while maintaining stable flow and smooth operation. The pump is especially suitable for applications requiring long-distance water transportation or high-pressure water supply.
The balance drum or balance disc structure effectively balances axial force, ensuring stable rotor operation and extending bearing and seal service life.
