Hot Water Boiler Feed Water Pump

Hot water boiler feed pumps are highly efficient and energy-efficient products designed for a new series of industrial steam boiler pumps. They innovate on traditional pump designs by eliminating the axial force balance of multi-stage centrifugal pumps. With no balancing device, there is no disc friction loss or balanced backflow loss, resulting in a 5-14% increase in pump efficiency over similar multi-stage pumps. These pumps are primarily designed for conveying clear water, free of solid particles, at temperatures between -20°C and 105°C, or liquid water with similar physical and chemical properties.

The pump is a horizontal, segmented, multi-stage, self-balancing centrifugal pump with a single or double suction inlet. The upper or horizontal pump and the discharge outlet are arranged vertically upward.
The pump consists of an inlet section, a middle section, a discharge section, a secondary inlet section, a forward guide vane, a reverse impeller, a shaft, a throttling and pressure reducing device, a retaining sleeve, a bearing body, and a transition pipe. The inlet and discharge sections are connected by zero-strength bolts. The inlet, middle, and outlet sections of the pump utilize metal-to-metal seals lubricated with molybdenum disulfide grease. The rotor consists of forward and reverse impellers, a shaft sleeve, and a bearing retaining sleeve mounted on the shaft. The bearings are solid-state, and the drive end utilizes a cylindrical roller bearing. The pump uses angular contact ball bearings for the end section, middle section, discharge section, secondary inlet section, positive guide vanes, reverse guide vanes, and transition duct.
Seal rings and guide vane sleeves are installed between the rotor and stationary sections. If wear on these seals affects pump performance, they should be replaced.
Shaft seals include mechanical seals and packing seals. The packing must be properly positioned and properly tight to allow liquid to drip. The sealing element is installed in the seal chamber, and water at a certain pressure must flow into the chamber to activate the seal. A replaceable sleeve is installed at the shaft seal to protect the pump shaft, allowing bearing and seal replacement without the pump being operated.
This series of pumps is directly connected to the prime mover via an elastic pin coupling or diaphragm coupling. The pump rotates clockwise.
