HNYB Vertical Sump Pump is designed for pumping liquids from deep sumps, pits, tanks and underground drainage systems. With a vertical long shaft structure, the pump keeps the motor above the liquid level while the pumping components operate inside the liquid.

The pump provides reliable performance for mining drainage, wastewater treatment, chemical processing, industrial circulation and other demanding applications.

Working Principle

 

The Vertical Sump Pump uses centrifugal force generated by the rotating impeller to transfer liquid from the sump or tank.

The motor drives the vertical shaft, which rotates the impeller inside the submerged pump chamber. Liquid enters through the suction inlet and is discharged upward through the pump column.

This design allows efficient pumping without submerging the motor.

Cantilever Design: The cantilever structure allows the pump to be installed in deep pits without the need for a separate pump house. This saves installation space and is suitable for deep pools and pits.

Excellent Solid-Liquid Separation Capability: Vertical sump pumps can handle a variety of industrial liquids containing suspended solids, particles, and impurities.

Robust Construction: The pump body boasts an extremely robust structure with thickened walls, making it suitable for corrosive environments and requiring virtually no maintenance. The jacketed design allows for the transport of viscous liquids such as molten sulfur and molten lead. The outlet/inlet flanges conform to ASA/DIN standards.

Flexible installation depth: The shaft length can be customized according to different sump depths.
