Horizontal Multistage Centrifugal Pump
A horizontal multistage centrifugal pump is a simple machine with two or more impellers. These impellers are mounted on a shaft, which rotates to generate pressure and move the liquid. Depending on the pump design, the impellers may be located on the same shaft or on separate shafts. Liquid enters through the inlet, flows through the pump casing, and ultimately reaches the eyelets of the impellers. The device mechanically rotates, driving the liquid through an electric motor or engine.
