Vertical Industrial Turbine Pumps

The vertical industrial turbine pump has a suction port that faces downward vertically and a discharge port that faces horizontally. The pump and motor can be directly connected and installed on the same foundation, or connected to the diesel engine through a gearbox. The pump rotates counterclockwise when viewed from the motor end. It is widely used in power stations, metallurgy, fire protection, mining, ironmaking plants, public utilities and other departments to transport clean water, rainwater, iron oxide water, sewage, corrosive industrial wastewater, seawater and other media with a temperature below 55°C. With special design, the temperature of the transported medium can reach 90°C.

• The vertical industrial turbine pump is designed with hydraulic design software, with superior performance. The impeller and impeller body adopt wear-resistant design, which increases the service life of the components and runs smoothly, safely and efficiently.
• The water inlet of the pump is equipped with a filter screen. The filter screen holes of appropriate size can not only prevent larger impurities from entering the pump and causing damage, but also ensure the water intake of the pump, thereby improving the efficiency of the pump.
• The impeller is provided with a balancing hole for balancing the axial force. At the same time, replaceable gaskets are installed on the front and rear covers to protect the impeller and impeller body from damage.
• The rotor includes an impeller, an impeller shaft, an intermediate shaft, a coupling, an adjusting nut, etc.
• The intermediate shaft, the riser, and the protective tube can adopt a multi-section structure. The connection between the shafts is a threaded coupling or a sleeve coupling. The number of risers can be increased or decreased according to the diving depth. The impeller can adopt a single-stage or multi-stage structure to meet different head requirements.
• The riser of the vertical pump is connected to the middle guide bearing through a flange. The guide bearing is made of polytetrafluoroethylene, sialon or nitrile rubber. The protective tube is used to protect the shaft and guide bearing. When the conveying medium is clean water, there is no need to set up a protective tube, and the guide bearing does not need external lubricating cooling water. When the conveying medium is sewage, a protective tube is required and external lubricating cooling water is required. The vertical turbine pump has a self-closing sealing system that can prevent sewage from entering the guide bearing after the pump is shut down.
• The residual axial force of the pump and the weight of the rotor components are borne by the thrust bearing in the motor seat or the motor with a thrust bearing. The thrust bearing is grease lubricated or oil lubricated. The shaft seal of the pump is a packing seal. The shaft seal and guide bearing are equipped with replaceable sleeves to protect the shaft. The axial position of the impeller can be adjusted through the upper part of the thrust bearing or the pump coupling, which is very convenient.
